Duties:
- Prepare and maintain financial statements, including balance sheets, income statements, and cash flow statements.
- Monitor and reconcile bank accounts and general ledger accounts to ensure accuracy.
- Process and track payments from customers and pay vendors.
- Follow up on overdue invoices and resolve any billing discrepancies.
- Monitor actual spending against the budget and highlight discrepancies.
- Track inventory related to car wash supplies and ensure stock levels are properly managed.
- Assist in reconciling physical inventory with financial records.
- Prepare and file sales tax returns and ensure compliance with local, state, and federal regulations.
- Work closely with external tax professionals during tax season.
- Post journal entries and ensure the accuracy of financial records.
- Perform month-end and year-end closing procedures.
- Monitor and report on cash flow to management.
- Provide support in analyzing financial performance, identifying trends, and suggesting improvements.
- Help management with cost control and profitability analysis.
- Ensure the company is complying with financial regulations and internal policies.
- Assist with internal audits and implement best practices for financial management.
Required Skills:
- Accounting Knowledge:
- Understanding of accounting principles (GAAP) and financial regulations.
- Familiarity with accrual accounting and basic bookkeeping practices.
- Technical Skills:
- Proficient in accounting software (e.g., QuickBooks, Sage, or any other ERP system).

- Accuracy in financial reporting and data entry is crucial.
